As part of our contribution to this year’s Rotlicht Festival, we present five diverse artists who engage with the themes »Outsiders« and »Expand Boundaries«. Various practices and media are employed in their exploration. The spectrum ranges from analog experimental and documentary films to a photo essay, and extends to experimental approaches with photochemistry and expanded photography, where the boundaries of -photography begin to blur. Ultimately, the works lead to postphotographic practices utilizing artificial intelligence.
The opening event will be thematically enhanced by a drag queen performance by Sebastijan Gec.
