A project by Irene Lucas and Christoph Euler in cooperation with Guntram Münster about new old relationship moments with the sun.
The mobile solar manufactory experiments and cooks in public space with different solar ovens. The devices were partly made from old materials such as a satellite dish. While this special slow food develops with the sunlight, a Camera Oscura on four wheels also captures light in an energy-autonomous way, and via long-term exposures, for example, the 4-lane traffic circle of the Praterstern is emptied of traffic and sometimes erased.
The exhibition visually reflects on analog approaches to a situational art practice, which in the process raises questions about new urban behaviors.
