Sophie Thun / Thomas Freiler

The often overlooked production process behind analog technology becomes the motif in Sophie Thun and Thomas Freiler’s work — be it through the »analysis or deconstruction of photographic images« (Freiler) or the physical inscription during the exposure process in the darkroom (Thun). In this exhibition, the photographic works of both artists enter into a dialog and create space for reflection on the usually »outside« technical side of the medium.
